It has been in use in Sweden since 2024 and our experiences are broadly in line with reports from other countries. The steady delivery helps to smooth out fluctuations, just as with other pumps. Skin reactions do occur, and some people experience side effects from using it round the clock, so a certain proportion of those who started the treatment have also stopped it. If you are unable to use Produodopa for any reason, it may be worth trying a different type of pump, if you require such treatment. /Dag Nyholm
