Is there any literature to read about DBS programming, for those of us who have it, who feel that, the doctors and nurses who are DBS specialists and programmers, are often very stressed and not given enough time to find the perfect setting.

DBS programming is quite complicated and as far as I know today (April 2025) there’s no literature on this for patients, but you can set up different “programs” that you can switch between with your “remote control”, so there’s some possibility to adjust on your own.
