It’s probably best to ask your doctor this question, so you can explain why you want to do this. If you stop taking Entacapone, it means you’ll have about 30 per cent less levodopa reaching your brain, which of course could mean that the treatment is 30 per cent less effective than it is today. But if you’re experiencing side effects, that reduction might actually be a good thing, of course. /Dag Nyholm
