I take four Madopark tablets during the day, plus a Siffrol in the morning with my first dose of Madopark. I take one Madepark Depot at night. I’ve started to experience a ‘dosage gap’ after about three hours. The symptoms are that I find it harder to start walking after sitting still. My legs feel heavy and I have pain in my right shoulder, arm and hip. Is there scope to increase my dosage? I’m waiting for an appointment with my neurologist. How often can I take Quick Mite in situations like this? I’ve had Parkinson’s since 2019.

You can take Madopark Quick Mite several times a day if necessary; your neurologist will then probably suggest a dose adjustment, for example, taking Madopark more frequently than at present – i.e. five times a day – or increasing the dose of Sifrol, or adding another medication. /Dag Nyholm
