I have a question about whether it is possible to make a self-referral to a neurologist at a different neurology clinic to the one I’m registered with. I’ve sent a message to my neurologist asking when I can get an appointment; I haven’t seen my neurologist for two years. I was told that I’m on the waiting list, as there are many people waiting. I’m not really happy with the neurology clinic since both my doctor and my Parkinson’s nurse have left. Is it possible to be referred to another clinic that works well? I live between Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern – is there anyone you could recommend that I could see? I’m prepared to travel a bit. I was diagnosed in 2015.
