The best way to introduce it is that in healthcare we tell about the method and show the pump and related materials. One does not have to go through any special tests, but pump treatment starts only if there are fluctuations in symptoms, so sometimes motion recording (e.g. with PKG clock) is used to investigate this. Unfortunately, there are waiting times for such special treatments but it can vary from place to place in the country. Not all hospitals have started with Produodopa yet, the treatment came to Sweden a little earlier this year (2024) and had been launched in some other countries.
