The doctors have diagnosed him with Parkinson’s; he was prescribed medication for three years, but it was only then that he began to show more symptoms of Parkinson’s. He has been tapering off Madopark and took his last tablet last week. He feels dizzy and has headaches and a tingling sensation in his legs and face. Could this be withdrawal symptoms from the medication?

If he’s been experiencing more Parkinson’s symptoms, it seems odd that he’s tapering off Madopark – he probably needs it to feel well. There are various ways you can feel unwell if you have Parkinson’s and stop taking Madopark. It’s not really withdrawal, but rather symptoms returning or new signs of a dopamine deficiency.
