It’s difficult to say which of you is most correct, but certainly the symptoms you describe could be linked to Parkinson’s, if that is indeed your diagnosis. Parkinson’s almost always starts clearly on one side of the body, and if both thighs feel equally troublesome, it’s worth considering other causes as well. It’s therefore more common to feel this way on the side where the Parkinson’s symptoms are present. You could ask a physiotherapist for advice and discuss with your neurologist whether increasing your Parkinson’s medication might be worth trying. Sometimes, muscle tension linked to worry or anxiety can cause symptoms such as those you describe, and in such cases it may be worth trying to treat this. /Dag Nyholm
